Entry from: Holguin, Cuba Entry Title: "Guardalavaca" Entry: "We woke up early again this morning to have another meeting with the hotel rep. By now the stubble on my face was starting to look a little long. Today I started to wear Dan's clothes. I still only had one pair of boxers and two pairs of socks, so I was really hoping that my luggage would finally show up - after all, the WestJet bag lady promised me that my luggage would be delivered here. During our meeting with the hotel rep, we booked our tours. Wednesday we would do the Jungle Adventure, Thursday was our day to swim with the dolphins, and Friday, our last day, we would tour Santiago. The rep also mentioned that he would check the airport for my luggage. Today we decided to take a ten minute walk down the road and visit the village of Guardalavaca. It was a very small place that was mainly focused around it's large beach. When we reached the village there were many locals walking around. This was the first time we were exposed to the culture and I was very impressed. Everyone seemed very relaxed and friendly, and we were stopped several times by people who were curious as to where we were from.
